Manchester United midfielder, Ander Herrera has stated that Chelsea star, Eden Hazard is the best Premier League player for 2017-2018 season and not Liverpool ace, Mohamed Salah.
Salah was crowned PFA Player of the Year following an impressive season at the Reds.
The Egyptian international also won the Premier League’s Golden Boot with his record-breaking 32-goal campaign.
However, Herrera who is preparing to face Hazard this Saturday as Jose Mourinho’s men take on Antonio Conte’s side in the FA Cup final at Wembley, believes the Belgium international should still be considered the Premier League’s best player.
“For me, Hazard is the best player in the league,” Herrera told The Big Interview with Graham Hunter.
“In my opinion he’s the best player in the league, I’ve said that since my first day here.
“He has some special abilities that I think he hasn’t trained them, because you cannot train them, you just have them.”
