The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has condemned the alleged planned revolution protest by AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore against the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

DAILY POST had reported that Sowore, the convener of Revolution Now Protests against Buhari government, was picked up at his apartment in the early hours of Saturday.

The politician raised the alarm in a distress tweet at exactly 1:25 am which reads, “DSS invades Sowore’s apartment.”

Reacting, Suleiman called for the release of AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS.

He, however, condemned the planned revolution, describing it as undemocratic.

Apostle Suleman on his verified Twitter page wrote: “I Heard about the planned ‘revolution’ protest for August 5 or so, I condemn it. Revolution is ‘forceful overthrow of govt’ and it’s not democratic.

“Sowore has been arrested, though he has written so much rubbish about me, I call for his immediate release please.”

Also, Fani-Kayode, reacting described Sowore’s arrest by DSS as unnecessary and unkind.

On his Twitter page, Fani-Kayode wrote: “The arrest of Yele Sowore is uncharitable, unkind, unecessary, uncalled for, unsustainable, indefensible and regrettable

“I condemn this fascistic and Gestapo-like action by the DSS against him and I call for his immediate and unconditional release.”
