The Executive Secretary of Kastina State Emergency Management Agency,SEMA, and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress,APC, Dr. Aminu Waziri, has buttressed the statement credited to the former Governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, where he described the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) by 39 political parties as an act of “opportunism”.

DAILY POST had on Monday reported that the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Social Democratic Party(SDP) and 37 other political parties and groups signed the MoU ahead of the 2019 general elections.

But speaking with DAILY POST on Wednesday, Waziri, described the members of the Coalition of United Political Parties(CUPP), as opportunists”, that lacked electoral values, adding that come 2019, President Muhammadu Buhari would defeat them.

According to the APC chieftain,” Generally, they have lost the bases in political activities. You cannot because of, you feel that the government is doing all that is possible to reverse the trend of corrupt activities in the country, then you now decide to fight the sitting government.

“I want you to understand that APC and President Muhammadu Buhari have come to stay. And what I mean that they have come to stay, is that they are at the helms of affairs. APC got the leadership of this country through popular votes, and this vote largely came from the masses. And the masses are still with the APC and President Buhari”.

“No matter how much people assemble, in-as-much as they cannot from within, impose someone that is as credible and transparent as President Buhari, it will just be like a joke”.

” You can analyse at the state level. In my state, Kastina, I don’t even know those who are members of the coalition. They cannot even deliver their wards, let alone local government and the country in general”.

“Go and look at their profile, they are set of politicians that always look for opportunity. They are opportunists. No single person can stop this government from restoring the lost glory of Nigeria”.
