A few eyebrows were raised, after former Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo, was spotted in Barcelona on Wednesday.
Ronaldo, who is now plying his trade in Italy with Juventus, was spotted by photographers arriving in the Spanish city.
However, the UK Mirror reports the 34-year-old forward was only visiting his sponsors – Nike’s offices in the city.
Ronaldo, who was dressed in casual Nike gear, was accompanied by his partner Georgina Rodriguez.
It was initially reported that the Portugal captain maybe in town to undergo an assessment, after picking up an injury while on international duty.
Juventus have also played down fears they will be without Ronaldo for their Champions League quarter-final clash with Roma.
