The Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara has reacted to death of Former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Sabundu Badeh.
DAILY POST had reported that Badeh who rose to the rank of Air Chief Marshal in the Nigerian military, died from gunshot wounds he sustained after his vehicle was attacked while returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road on Tuesday.
Reacting to the sad news, Dogara took to his official Twitter page condemning Badeh’s death.
The Speaker called for those responsible to be brought to book, even as he described Badeh’s death as alarming.
“News of the gruesome murder of the former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, is both saddening and alarming.
“My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones, and I hope that those responsible are swiftly apprehended and brought to justice,” he wrote.
