Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has publicly appreciated his wife, Dolapo, for standing by him in his first term in office and asked for her continuous support.
He expressed his feeling of gratitude in a post on his Twitter handle after he took the Oath of Office and the Oath of Allegiance at the Eagle square, Abuja on Wednesday.
Waxing poetic, Osinbajo wrote: “My dear Dolapo,
“Thank you for years past. Thank you especially for the last four years.
“You are my rock. And with you by my side, I am ready for the next four years of service.”
The Vice President also thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for giving him the privilege to assist him for another four years.
“The call to service is one I take very seriously.
“I am thankful to President Muhammadu Buhari for the opportunity to assist in the service of the Nigerian people.
“Together, Nigeria will prevail!”
