What Lukaku said after scoring on debut as Inter Milan defeat Lecce

Inter Milan’s record signing, Romelu Lukaku has reacted to his side’s 4-0 Serie A victory over Lecce on Monday.

Lukaku and Stefano Sensi scored on Monday, while Marcelo Brozovic and Antonio Candreva also found the back of the net to give Antonio Conte’s men all three points against Lecce.

The Belgium striker impressed with his high energy levels and sharp build-up play.

Speaking after the League match, Lukaku, who joined Inter Milan from Manchester United on transfer deadline day earlier this month, said he was happy for his side’s victory.

“I’m happy with today’s win. Interforce force. I’m happy with today’s victory!! Interforce force,” Lukaku posted on Twitter alongside pictures of himself with his teammates celebrating.

Speaking on Lukaku after the match, Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte said the 26-year-old has entered “the Interworld with great humility”.

“Romelu has entered the Interworld with great humility,” Conte said, adding that “he is ready to work for the team.”

“There was a spark, but now we must become dynamite”.
