What I discussed with President Buhari last night – Speaker Dogara

The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon Yakubu Dogara, has confirmed President Muhammadu Buhari is hale and hearty.

Dogara said President Buhari called him on the phone and they talked about what the Executive/Legislature must do to ensure food security for all Nigerians.

On his Twitter handle @YakubDogara, the Speaker, House of Assembly tweeted: “@MBuhari called me yesterday evening.

“He talked about what the Executive/ Legislature must do to to ensure food security for all Nigerians.”

This is coming after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, revealed that he spoke with Buhari, who is currently on a medical vacation in the United Kingdom, UK.

Saraki revealed via his Twitter account on Thursday morning that Buhari was in good spirits and joked about working late into the night. .

In the same vein, Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo had claimed that he had a long conversation with Buhari. .

Meanwhile, prior to this development, President Buhari’s aide on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had admitted that ‘they’ don’t have direct access to his principal.
