The outgoing Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday met with the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
Speaking after the meeting, Fayose described President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as a ‘government of beasts’.
According to Fayose, “My visit was to solidarise with the senate leaders on their recent travails with security agencies.”
His meeting is sequel to police invasion of the residences of the Senate President and the Deputy on Tuesday morning.
Fayose had earlier condemned the siege on the residences of the Senate leaders.
He, however, commended the massive defection of Senators, noting that the era of tyranny was almost over.
