What Atiku/Obi’s joint ticket did to Nigerians – Hon. Pam

As the 2019 general elections draw nearer, the Coordinator of Restore Back PDP Initiative in Plateau State, Hon. Yohanna Pam, has observed that the joint ticket of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi as presidential candidate and running mate respectively has brought a sigh of relief to Nigerians.

Pam stated that Atiku, who served as Vice President for eight years and Peter Obi who served as Governor of Anambra State for the same number of years, have the political will and experience to revamp Nigeria’s economy and tackle security challenges that have threatened the unity of the country.

The Coordinator stated this in Jos, the Plateau state capital, on Thursday.

According to him, “We are confident that the presidential ticket of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi will actualize the dream of Restore back PDP initiative.

“Their emergence into the political scene has brought a sigh of relief to Nigerians who were passing through excruciating pains and agony in the hands of the APC government.

“We believe that Atiku’s government will return the country to the path of wealth creation, gainful employment and tackling headlong the security challenges that has perished innocent citizens and enthrone a conducive atmosphere for national and international investors to carry out business without fear.”

He also stated that retired General Jeremiah Useni, the PDP governorship candidate in Plateau state, will coast to victory in the state come 2019.

Pam said the group which has constituted its state and local government executives and have mapped out strategies to dethrone Governor Lalong and the APC government in Plateau state.

“We are not going to leave anything to chance, we shall work day and night to ensure the actualization of the dream of Restore PDP in Plateau. I am sure that with the emergence of Gen. Jeremiah Useni as PDP candidate, the APC Governorship should start preparing their handing over note ahead of May 29, 2019.”

He added that the group was working assiduously for the success of all PDP candidates within and outside the state and urged Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to provide a level-playing ground for all political parties and enforce the law on vote buying.
