Arsene Wenger is top of Fenerbahce’s managerial wishlist as pressure mounts on Phillip Cocu, according to reports in Turkey.
The legendary Arsenal manager, who stepped down from his role at the Emirates after 22 years last season, has not officially retired from football management.
It is however not yet clear, whether the Frenchman would consider taking the job.
But speculations are rife about Cocu losing his job, after having guided his side to just one victory in their last five matches.
If Wenger was to take the job, then he could possibly come up against Arsenal in the Europa League this season.
The Gunners have started the competition in fine style, winning their first two Group E fixtures against Vorskla and Qarabag, putting them on course to qualify for the knockout rounds.
