Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, will announce if he is staying or leaving the club, after they play Manchester City this Sunday.
According to a report in the Daily Star, a victory will see him announce he is staying, while another defeat could see him step aside.
Wenger’s current contract expires at the end of this season and a number of Arsenal fans have asked him to quit, following another disappointing season.
The 67-year-old has already made it clear he will continue in football management, whether it is at Arsenal or another club.
It is understood that senior officials at the club, have tabled a two-year offer for the Franchman to stay.
Arsenal are currently six points off fourth placed Liverpool ahead of the City game and are in serious danger of missing out on a Champions League place.
Robert Pires has however said he no doubts, that Wenger is fully committed to Arsenal and will sign a new deal.
