Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is convinced that Thomas Lemar wants to join the club from Monaco and will go back with a third bid for the player.
Wenger has already seen bids of £30million and £40million turned down by the Ligue 1 champions, but the Gunners are refusing to give up as they believe they can get their man.
The third offer could be up to £45m-plus and would be the second time Arsenal have beaten their old transfer record this window.
They paid £42.5m paid for Mesut Ozil in 2013 and this week, negotiated a £52m deal for Alexandre Lacazette.
Lemar has always been Wenger’s top priority in the wide areas, with Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez seen as a back-up.
It is believed the France winger has already agreed terms with the Premier League side.
