Former Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, has spoken on Monaco’s decision to appoint Thierry Henry as their new manager.
Henry, who started his football career at the Principality, replaces Leonardo Jardim who was sacked earlier this week.
Wenger worked with the former France striker while with the Gunners and described him as someone who “knows football well”.
He said: “Henry is a good choice for Monaco.
“He is credible, he is very intelligent, he knows football well. That’s why he has all that’s needed.
“But he will have to have the right attitude and make sacrifices.
“You have to sacrifice all your free time.”
