Head coach of Akwa United, Zachary Baraje has expressed his confidence that his team will not go down this season.
Baraje’s men beat in-form Nasarawa United 2-0 on Friday night in a Week 31 game at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo.
“The boys are now motivated. We will get out of the relegation zone. We will make sure we don’t go on relegation and make sure we win the Federation Cup,” the former Enyimba coach said.
Akwa United now have 37 points from 31 games and are currently 14th on the table.
They will face Lobi Stars in the final of the 2015 Federation Cup.
