Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, is confident that they will beat Senegal in Abuja, when both teams face each other on Tuesday.
The Terranga Lionesses held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in Dakar on Friday, in the first leg of their Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Chioma Wogu opened scoring for the Falcons, before Senegal equalized in the 52nd minute.
“Its not over yet, we all should understand how it works, away games are not easy,” Oshoala told reporters in Lagos.
“It’s African football, at least we got an away goal which is most important.
“We tried our best and I’m confident we shall beat the Senegal ladies in Abuja. Football is a game that puts smiles on the faces of Nigerians and we’re ready to do this for Nigerians.”
