Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, was furious after the 2-1 loss to Barcelona on Saturday evening, after the referee refused to award Cristiano Ronaldo a penalty.
The Portuguese forward was tossed aside by Javier Mascherano in the box, but Alberto Undiano waved away Madrid’s protests for a spot-kick.
Alexis Sanchez went on to double the Catalans’ advantage, before Jese Rodriguez pulled one back.
“We have been harmed, the penalty was so clear,” the 27-year-old blasted to reporters after the match. “There are things that we can’t fight against.
“The referee was determinant. Real Madrid played well against a hard team. It’s been a long time since we saw Barcelona suffering and wasting time.”
Barca have now established a six-point gap over Madrid after the El Clasico victory.
