“We played beyond expectations” – Neymar reflects on 3-0 win over Spain

Neymar has admitted that Brazil surpassed expectations, after they beat world and European champions Spain, to win the FIFA Confederations Cup.

The Barcelona-bound forward scored in between Fred’s brace, as the hosts dominated large periods of the game, creating numerous chances.

“The team played very well tonight, even better than we were expecting,” he said.

“This is a day that is making us very happy, we have no idea but we know this was a very important win.

“We had this goal and we ended putting the icing on the cake. All players like decisive games, special ones, even more so against the best team in the world, we are happy.

“We dream of something that is impossible for most, but nothing is impossible, they might be for the men, but not for God.”
