We have unraveled new plots by ‘opposition’ to attack Kaduna South‎ – APC alleges

Kaduna State Chapter of the All Progressives Change (APC) has claimed that is has unraveled a plot by prominent members of the opposition party to cause mayhem in the already troubled state.

The party claimed some persons were planning coordinated attacks on properties belonging to some individuals.

In a statement signed by Kaduna State APC Acting Publicity Secretary, Salisu Tanko Wusono, the party called on relevant security agencies to investigate the matter and take necessary action.

The Kaduna APC also expressed fears in the way some cultural organisations were operating.

According to the statement, “We have credible information at our disposal that some members of the opposition and their cronies are currently organizing thugs to attack properties of some individuals in Kaduna and attribute it to our members especially in Southern Kaduna.

“The plot is to cause a breakdown of law and order, we are by this notice alerting security agencies and members of the general public. Should anything happen to our members, we will hold the brains behind the plot responsible.

“We have been following their tactical calls for anarchy and gradual mobilisation using various means as a basis of hatching their intention.

“We are also appealing to our members especially in Southern Kaduna to be calm and law abiding. The party shares their concern regarding the threat to their lives and intimidation they are subjected to by various interests.”

“The most unfortunate thing is the harassment and intimidation of our members’ right under the supervision and collaboration of a supposedly socio-cultural organization that ought to be neutral and non-partisan but now deeply involved in the persecution of our members,” Kaduna APC said.
