The National Examination Council (NECO) has warned unsuspecting members of the public, not to faill for a syndicate claiming to recruit staff for the council.
NECO’s head of information, Azeez Sani, in a statement released on Monday, revealed that job seekers have besieged their head office with applications, following the online publication.
“NECO is not recruiting, since the present Registrar/Chief Executive Office assumed duty last August, no single employment has been made.
“The council warns strongly that the publication is the imagination of fraudsters and states emphatically that it has not recruited, is not recruiting and has no immediate plan to recruit,” Sani said.
He added that the council would follow due process, when it was ready for recruitment, through proper advertisement.
