Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, has confirmed that the club is close to completing a deal for highly rated striker, Yaya Sanogo.
The 20-year-old has had a fine season with Auxerre, scoring eight goals in seven games, after his campaign was hindered by injury. The striker is free to talk to other clubs, as his contract runs out this summer and he has rejected a new deal with the French club.
“It is in advanced stages but it is not done,” Wenger said, when asked about the transfer at his Friday press conference.
