Water supply in NYSC camp will be restored soon – Ortom

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has promised Corps members at the the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, orientation camp in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area of the State that water supply in the camp will be restored soon .

Ortom made this promise over the weekend during the swearing-in of Batch A, stream 2 corps members.

He observed that it will be difficult for corps members to carry out their activities on the camp without water, while directing the ministry in charge to immediately act on his directive.

The Benue number one citizen also stated that his dispensation would ensure that some of the challenges been faced on the camp and the State in general are turned around.

While reading President Muhammadu Buhari’s speech, Governor Ortorm applauded the various achievements of the NYSC scheme which was established 44 years ago.

Earlier, the State NYSC coordinator, Mrs. Easter Atamenwan, had appealed to the governor to assist in providing some basic facilities at the Camp.
