Nigeria Professional Football League (NFPL) club, Warri Wolves, are demanding a staggering $2million for midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo.
Etebo was Nigeria’s stand-out performer, as the Dream Team VI clinched the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal last week.
He emerged top scorer with five goals and has been nominated for CAF Most Promising Talent of 2015.
A couple of clubs in Egypt and Tunisia are eager to snap up the all-action player, but Wolves want top dollar for their man.
“Top officials at the Delta Sports Commission have demanded for $2 million as transfer fee for Etebo,” a top source informed AfricanFootball.
Etebo scored five goals in the past NPFL season, as Wolves finished in second place behind champions Enyimba.
