Warri Wolves are believed to have reduced their $2million asking price for Oghenekaro Etebo, as Esperance and two other Tunisian clubs joined the race to sign the midfielder.
The Nigeria U-23 star has become one of the most sought after youngsters on the continent, after an impressive display at the recent U-23 AFCON in Senegal.
“Esperance are now keen to sign Etebo and this comes at a time when it is believed that Wolves are now demanding less than the $2 million they first asked for the player,” a top source informed AfricanFootball.
“After the holidays, we will have a clearer picture of how the bidding war will play out.”
