Amaju Patrick, the chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, on Tuesday made it clear that Warri Wolves have not placed a price tag on stranded Sunday Mba.

The Super Eagles midfielder’s future is up in the air, as Wolves and Enugu Rangers continue to tussle for ownership of the player, with a N12million fee being rumoured as Mba’s value.

“Nobody can tell us how much and when to sell our player,” he said.

“This is a gimmick. If they are contesting ownership of the player why are they issuing press release that we have agreed to sell the player for a certain amount? Do you sell who belongs to another club? We want the matter settled first.

“We may even decide not to sell Mba. The talk about Wolves agreeing to sell Mba for N12m is a mere antic which we shall not fall to. It is not true.”
