Theo Walcott scored his 100th goal in an Arsenal shirt, as they beat Sutton United 2-0 at Gander Green Lane in South London on Monday night.

Lucas Perez opened the scoring in the first half, after his pacy cross snuck past the goalkeeper Ross Worner.

There was a brief scare for the Gunners before the break, after Nacho Monreal tangled with Craig Eastmond in the penalty area, but referee Michael Oliver waved away the shouts for a spot-kick.

Walcott doubled Arsenal’s advantage in the second half, after a lovely passage of play.

Arsene Wenger’s men will now host another non-League side, Lincoln, in the last eight of the competition at the Emirates Stadium.
