There was anger among voters at Otiogbata hall in Uga, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State as card readers deployed to the area failed to work.

PDP chieftain, and senatorial candidate of the party for Anambra South zone was also unable to vote as the card reader failed to capture his details.

On the contrary, his brother, Sen Andy Uba who is contesting senatorial seat of Anambra South on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was able to vote.

As at 1:20pm, no single person had voted at the three polling units of Otiogbata, including the PDP candidate, as a result of malfunctioning card readers.

The crowd at the centre was massive. Expressing concerns, Chris said they should have given him the opportunity to vote being a candidate in the election.

But his brother, Sen Uba who voted at St Peter Church said he was satisfied with the situation, adding that his happiness was the crowd that came out to vote despite the disappointment of last week.
