Veteran actor of the popular classic TV series, The Village Headmaster, Femi Robinson, is dead.
The series, which aired on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) was produced by late Ambassador Segun Olusola.
Robinson, 75, passed on in the early hours of Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at a hospital in Fagba, Lagos.
His death was made public by his two sons Seun and Wole Robinson, on his Facebook page.
“This is to notify you that we lost our father, Femi Robinson this morning – Seun & Wole Robinson (sons),” a message they posted read.
Other cast and crew of the Village Headmaster who have passed on include Funsho Justice Esiri and Sisi Clara.
Late Robinson had studied Botany at the then University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in the 60s. A trained public relations guru and theatre administrator, the late actor was the pioneer of Director of Programmes of the Ogun State Television.
