It has been confirmed that Victor Moses could miss the next six weeks with a thigh injury.

The Stoke City winger who is on loan from Chelsea, sustained the problem during their 2-1 win at home against Burnley last Saturday.

“He has a significant thigh injury, which is likely to keep him out for several weeks,” said assistant manager Mark Bowen, speaking to BBC Radio Stoke.

“At the moment we’re deciding with Chelsea whether [Moses will] go back and have the rehab there or stay with our team.”

Bowen however had some good news, as Marc Wilson is back in training, after picking up a hamstring injury before the international break.

“Marc trained on Tuesday, albeit lightly, but he trained and will have more intensive training later in the week and hopefully he’ll be available at the weekend,” Bowen added.

Stoke travel to Liverpool in the Premier League this Saturday.
