Marco Verratti’s agent, Donato Di Campli, has admitted that a move away from Paris Saint-Germain is “complicated”.
Verratti is believed to be keen on leaving the Ligue 1 outfit, especially with new Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde interested in signing him.
The 24-year-old joined PSG in 2012 and has a contract with the French side until 2021.
However, after five years in Paris and having seen the club fail to make a real impact in the Champions League, Verratti is eager for a fresh start elsewhere. despite continued heavy spending, Verratti is now looking to make a fresh step.
“It’s very complicated [to leave], but we have expressed our ideas to PSG. We’re not talking about Barcelona or other clubs, it’s about projects,” Di Campli told Sky Italia.
“I think I represent a champion and clearly I have questions. To be a champion you have to win.
“If PSG don’t want to sell him, despite offers from all over Europe, then we’d have to examine our consciences in Italy.”
Carlo Ancelotti is also a big fan and wants to take him to Bayern Munich. Chelsea boss Antonio Conte also fancies a reunion at Stamford Bridge.
