Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has claimed that Jamie Vardy will not sign for the Gunners this summer.
Wenger has activated a £20m release clause for the Leicester City striker, but Vardy who is at the Euros with England, is yet to make up his mind on his future.
In an interview with Chinese television, Wenger said: “Jamie Vardy is, at the moment, at Leicester and from what I know, he will stay at Leicester.”
Vardy himself, speaking at England’s 2016 training base at Chantilly, says he is fully focused on the Three Lions.
“I’m just here completely focusing on England and that’s all I want to do at the moment,” the 29-year-old insisted.
“We’re here to represent England and that’s all I want to think about.”
