Leicester City will be without star striker, Jamie Vardy, for Sunday’s crunch clash at Manchester United, after he was handed an additional one-game suspension.
The England international, was sent off against West Ham last week and a regulatory commission met on Monday and decided to extend his ban.
Following his red card for an alleged dive, Vardy pointed a finger at referee Jonathan Moss and swore at the official. The panel ruled his aggression warranted a further one-match ban.
Vardy has already missed Leicester’s 4-0 thumping of Swansea on Sunday and will now sit out the tie at Old Trafford, where a win could see them crowned Premier League champions.
