Vardy, Leicester City charged for improper conduct

The Football Association (FA), has charged Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy, for improper conduct following his red card against West Ham on Sunday.

Leicester City have also been charged for not controlling their players, after referee Jon Moss awarded West Ham a penalty in the second half.

A statement released by the FA reads: “Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy has been charged with improper conduct for his behaviour following his second-half dismissal against West Ham United on Sunday 17 April 2016.

“Leicester have also been charged for failing to control their players following the awarding of an 83rd-minute penalty to West Ham.”

Vardy’s dismissal means he will definitely miss this week’s game against Swansea. It remains to be seen if the FA will extend his ban.
