Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, has revealed that midfielder Daley Blind, could be out of action for up to six months with a knee injury.
“He has a brace on his knee. After 10 days’ rest, he’ll have another scan that will say more about the injury,” he said.
If the Holland international is indeed out for that period of time, he is as good as being ruled out for the rest of the season.
There was also a bit of good news, as Van Gaal confirmed that David De Gea and Angel Di Maria will both be fit for Arsenal, while Luke Shaw is a doubt.
