Unless we change our corrupt ways, Nigeria will disappear – Ajimobi

The Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi has declared that “all Nigerians are corrupt”, warning that the country risks going into extinction unless Nigerians retraced their steps, and join in the “Change begins with me” mantra of President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

He spoke in Ibadan, the state capital, at the first anniversary of Petals FM, owned by Yinka Odumakin and Joe Odumakin, stating that there were far more other things that were hindering the development and greatness of Nigeria unlike the popular feelings that financial corruption was the bane for the nation’s underdevelopment.

These, according to the governor, include attitudinal corruption, religious corruption, character corruption, and other forms of corruption with which individual Nigerians are daily involved.

Last week, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN, had observed that all the arms of government are corrupt , but assured Nigerians that no sector of the country will be spared in the ongoing fight against corruption, which he identified as a canker-worm too endemic to be overlooked.
