The University of Ibadan yesterday announced that 100 students have been withdrawn by the Senate of the institution.
The university bulletin explained that the withdrawal was approved by the Senate as the affected students failed to obtain the minimum academic requirements at the end of the 2014/15 session.
The students were from seven faculties, some in final year.
Three of the students had voluntarily withdrawn from the institution.
“Senate at its meeting approved that the candidates whose names appear on this list should withdraw from the University for failure to obtain the minimum academic requirements at the end of 2014/2015 session,” the bulletin signed by the Registrar, Olujimi Olukoya, said.
