In it’s efforts towards peace and sanity and to avoid loss of lives and property, the management of the University of Abuja has shut down the institution following a protest by students of the institution on Monday.

A source told Dailypost that trouble started when some students of the Faculty of Engineering embarked on a protest, asking the school authority why their Examination Timetable was not released when others had already commenced the semester exams.

A bird in the know had squealed that the institution has not released the Faculty of Engineering Timetable yet because the Faculty is currently battling with accreditation issues with COREN and NUC adding that students who have graduated from the faculty have not been given their results yet.
