United away to Swansea, Mourinho welcomes Hull, Gunners host Villa – See full 2013/2014 EPL op

The FA has released the opening day fixtures for the 2013/2014 Premier League season.

Manchester United, with David Moyes now in charge, will begin their title defence away to Carling Cup holders, Swansea. Jose Mourinho’s second coming will see him lead out Chelsea at Stamford Bridge against newly-promoted Hull City.

Manuel Pellegrini’s first taste of English football, will be when Manchester City hosts Newcastle. Arsenal have been handed a home game too, against Aston Villa.

In the other games, Crystal Palace welcomes Spurs, Liverpool hosts Stoke, Everton travel to Norwich and Fulham will be away to Sunderland. West Brom will begin their campaign at home against Southampton, while newcomers Cardiff visit Upton Park.
