Unidentified gunmen abduct Bayelsa monarch

Reports reaching DAILY POST says unknown gunmen have kidnapped the paramount ruler of Tombia, His Royal Highness, Christian Otobotekere in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

Incidents of kidnapping have become prevalent in the State in recent times, resulting to fear and panic among residents of the State.

It will be recalled that only two weeks ago, Mrs. Martha Binabo, wife of the former acting Governor of the State, Nestor Binabo, was rescued from the clutches of her abductors after been held for one week.

Also in a similar vain, two cousins of former President, Goodluck Jonathan, Patience Egbeni and Kate Eni were in May abducted by six gunmen at Akimpelai, Ogbia local government area of the state.
