UEFA on Tuesday released their 11 nominees for the 2017-18 goal of the season award.
The results will be announced in two weeks’ time.
Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo’s overhead kick was nominated.
The 33-year-old scored a sublime overhead kick against Juventus in the Champions League last year when he was playing for Real Madrid.
“Of course, people are now talking about my second goal,” The Sun quoted Ronaldo saying after the game.
“It was indeed a spectacular goal. It was probably the best goal of my career.”
