Chelsea’s perfect start to this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign ended on Wednesday, after they threw away a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Roma at Stamford Bridge.

Antonio Conte’s men scored twice early in the first half through David Luiz and Eden Hazard, before Aleksander Kolarov’s shot was deflected past Thibaut Courtois.

Edin Dzeko’s brilliant brace in the second half, seemed to have handed the Serie A side all three points, before Hazard headed the Blues level.

10-man Barcelona saw off Olympiakos 3-1 at the Camp Nou, Manchester United battled to a 1-0 win at Benfica and Atletico Madrid were held to a 0-0 draw at Qarabag.

CSKA Moscow lost 2-0 at home to Basel, Bayern Munich defeated Celtic 3-0, while Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Anderlecht 4-0 in Belgium.
