Tyson Fury’s bout with Wladimir Klitschko called off

The much expected fight between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko is off, after the Ukrainian suffered a torn tendon in his left calf.

Fury was set to face Klitschko in Dusseldorf next month, with the WBA, WBO and IBF world titles on the line. But according to reports in Germany, the bout will not take place again.

Earlier this week, the 27-year-old Fury grabbed the headlines, when he arrived at a pre-fight press conference dressed as Batman, but will now have to wait longer.

The fight was expected to be worth over £30million and was on course to be a 55,000 sell-out at the Esprit Arena. .
