Two suspected ritualists caught with 10 female pants in Delta Community

Two suspected ritualists were on Wednesday caught in Umutu Community, Delta State, with ten female pants.

It was garthered that the suspects upon serious beating by angry mob, confessed to have been in the business in the recent times after being frustrated out of school owing to poverty.

Eyewitness said the suspects identified as Emeka Nwosa and Jerry Obi were caught after they had allegedly forced a 15-year-old girl in the community who was on her way to the farm, to pull her pants and give to them.

The victim was said to have shouted for help after she was allegedly manhandled

Her shouts attracted helps of some farmers who immediately moved into the scene with their cultlasses to save the situation.

They arrested the suspects on the spot before handing over to the police station in Umutu Community where they allegedly confessed to the crime.

Confirming the arrest of the two suspected ritualists, the commissioner of police in Delta State, Anthony Agbizi said they would be transferred to the state CID for further investigations.

Agbizi, however, assured Deltans of the police continued protection of lives and properties.
