The Ogun state police command has arrested two suspected ritualists for allegedly killing and sharing body parts of one Sara Olowokere at Ijoko, Sango area of the state.

The State Commissioner of Police, Iliyasu Ahmed, while parading the suspects at the state police headquarters in Abeokuta, revealed that the duo of Darasimi Rotimi, who is a prophet of the Cherubim and Seraphim church, and Ibikunle Sunday were also alleged to have removed Olowokere’s head, wrist, heart and private part for the purpose of money ritual before burying her remains.

Confessing to the crime, 40-year-old Sunday, an Okada rider, said he knocked the victim with a wood on her head which lead to her death.

“I hit a plank of wood on her head. When she died, we now shared her parts.

“I took her head to Ogo-eri and Darasimi (referring to the Prophet) took the other parts of the body away.

“They said the parts are essential ingredients for money-making ritual” he confessed.

He added that the deceased was the girlfriend of the third suspect who is still on the run.
