Arsenal defeated Colorado Rapids 3-0 in their first pre-season friendly.

Unai Emery named a very youthful side for kick off, but they went two goals up in the opening half hour.

Bukayo Saka and James Olayinka struck for the Gunners before the break, as they took command of the match played in Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, Denver.

New signing Gabriel Martinelli netted the third goal, as Arsenal strolled to victory over the MLS side.

There was still enough time for substitute Alexandre Lacazette, to miss two good chances to increase their tally.

Emery’s side will now face Bayern Munich next on Thursday, July 18
