The Ogun State Police Command have arrested two persons – Patrick Udom, 35, and James Roland for allegedly killing their neighbour, Happy Patrick.
The suspects were said to have stolen his Bajaj motorcycle after hacking the victim to death and hid his remains in a sack.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident.
Oyeyemi said that the prime suspect, Udom, confessed that the victim who lives in the same community along with him was killed to facilitate the theft of his motorcycle.
“The body of the deceased, which the suspects concealed in a sack and threw in a nearby bush was recovered. Also recovered by the Police are two cutlasses, hammer and a dagger – all used to kill their victim,” PPRO Oyeyemi added.
