Two persons, who threatened the Chief Security Officer of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Olatubosun Odumosu, have been arrested and charged before a Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba.
The accused persons, Michael Nwaogu and Simon Akagwu, were arraigned before the court on a three count charge.
It was gathered that the accused persons had previously worked for Odumosu who also owned a security firm.
One of the accused persons, Nwaogu, was said to have complained of been maltreated by Odumosu while he worked for him and planned a revenge. He reportedly discussed the plan with Akagwu.
Odumosu, on his part, alleged he received four text messages on his phone threatening him, adding that he later got wind of the fact that Akagwu had knowledge of the information contained in the text messages. He reported them to the police, who apprehended and arraigned them in court.
The charge reads, “That you, Nwaogu Michael and Akagwu Simon, on July 28, 2015, did threaten to kill one Olatubosun Odumosu, by sending him a written message and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 230 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.”
Both accused persons however pleaded not guilty against the charges preferred against them.
In her ruling, the Magistrate, Mrs. O. A. Erinle, granted the accused persons bail in the sum of N50, 000.
