At least two persons were on Tuesday killed after fire engulfed the water board building in Misau local government area of Bauche State.
The incident, which razed a section of the state water board building, occurred when a welder was mending a licking oil tank.
According to eye witness, the welder and a staff of the water board died instantly as a result of the sudden explosion that burnt their bodies while the other people sustained serious injuries.
He said the victims were later conveyed to the Federal Medical Centre Azare and later referred to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital Bauchi following the gravity of the injuries they sustained.
A resident of Misau, Yerima Abdu, told Vanguard that the incident got out of control because fire service vehicles had to come all the way from Azare, to put out the fire.
