A duplex under construction reportedly owned by an Ibadan top politician, Honourable Temitope Olatoye, famously known as Sugar, on Saturday collapsed, killing two persons and injuring several other workers on the site.
DailyPost gathered that Olatoye, who represents Lagelu at the Oyo State House of Assembly is also gunning to represent Lagelu Akinyele at the Federal House of Representatives.
An eyewitness who craved anonymity said the incident was treated with secrecy.
He said, “No rescue team or any government agency like SEMA has been seen since the incident occurred on Saturday.”
He added that the victims were rescued by sympathisers and co-workers.
Efforts to reach Olatoye for comment could not yeild any positive result at the moment.
