Trump, CAN, PFN react to Billy Graham’s death

President of United States,Donald Trump has reacted to the death of renowned Evangelist, Billy Graham

Prior to his death, he was a Christian evangelist whose worldwide crusades and role as adviser to decades of U.S. presidents made him one of the best known religious figures of his time.

Graham, who had been ill for a number of years, was regularly listed in polls as one of the “Ten Most Admired Men in the World.”

Trump reacting on his official twitter page described Graham as a great and special man.

According to him, Graham will be missed by Christians and all other religions.

He wrote “The GREAT Billy Graham is dead. There was nobody like him! He will be missed by Christians and all religions. A very special man.”

Similarly, Vice President Mike Pence applauded late Graham for his impact on nations.

He wrote “Billy Graham’s ministry for the gospel of Jesus Christ and his matchless voice changed the lives of millions.

“We mourn his passing but I know with absolute certainty that today he heard those words, ‘well done good and faithful servant.’ Thank you Billy Graham. God bless you(2/2).”

Also, the National Publicity secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Reverend Musa Asake described Graham as a faithful preacher, urging Nigerian leaders to emulate him.

“Billy Graham was a faithful preacher who worked for God and has gone to be with the Lord.

“Nigerian leaders should learn from his ways and be true to the word they preach seeing that this life is a race,” Asake told newsmen

Bishop Sola Ore, Lagos State Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, lauded Graham for staying true to his calling and steering clear of scandals while on earth.

Ore, therefore, charged preachers to be sure of their calling, focus on it and pursue their goals.

“Graham knew what God asked him to do and he pursued it to the end.

“As preachers everywhere, not only Nigerian preachers, we should be focused and know what God has called us to do. Everyone should pursue his own goals and not dabbling into what God has not called one to do.

“Be sure of your calling and be focused. Also while alive, try to raise a person that will take over from you and watch the person function accordingly,” he said.
